The Parker Family Genealogy and History

256 pages, 6 x 9", hardcover, acid free paper, illustrations and photographs, indexed.

This is the story of the Parker and Allied Families that has taken over 40 years to research and assemble. Those direct Parker ancestors who came from England in the early 1600s, first among those who settled in America, are carried forward through 13 generations for nearly 400 years.

Starting with Deacon Thomas Parker, the lineage includes Caleb Parker, who served in the Revolutionary War along with 6 other direct ancestors; Osmyn Schuyler Parker who came to early Denver and through the 13th generation of Parkers.

Joining them are those direct allied ancestors who married into the Parker family through the years, including the Germanic side of the family who came to America in the early 1700s.

Among the allied families covered are: Bloedorn, Fehr, Henrich, Hosmer, Howe, Jennings, Mixer, Nurse, Parkhurst, Pratt, Reilly, Rice, Smith, Spencer, Stone, and others who came to the New World, hoping to find a better life, with religious, economic and political freedoms. Many of the families can be traced back to the 10th and 11th century in Europe.

This book contains an extensive bibliography and fully indexed family name genealogy, including numerous photographs and illustrations.
